What this tool does

Roll any dice expression in standard notation: 2d6 for two six-siders, 1d20+5 for a d20 with a bonus, or combinations like 2d8+1d4-1. Every individual die result is shown along with the total.

How the randomness works

Each die is rolled independently from a cryptographically seeded generator with exactly equal odds on every face - our automated tests continuously verify d20 uniformity. Notation supports up to 200 dice with up to 10,000 sides each, which covers every tabletop system we know of and then some.

  • Settling anything a d20 can settle

Frequently asked questions

What notation is supported?
Any signed combination of NdM terms and integer modifiers: 2d6, d20 (count defaults to 1), 3d6+2, 1d20+1d4-1. Weird dice like d3 and d7 work fine.
Are these rolls really fair?
Yes - every face has an exactly equal chance, verified by chi-square tests in our automated suite, and each roll comes with a replayable fairness receipt.
Can I see each die, not just the total?
Yes. Results show every individual die grouped by term, plus modifiers and the grand total.
